Navigating the world of online perfume shopping is a unique challenge. Unable to smell fragrances in person, consumers face difficulty accurately evaluating scents before buying. Leveraging our experience with The Alchemist Atelier, we gathered insights and identified exciting opportunities for collaboration with Puig's innovation and perfumery teams. Our first goal was to create the go-to digital resource for exploring the vast world of perfumes online.

Finding the perfect fragrance, reinvented.

The fragrance industry faces a clear challenge: the language of essences and perfumes remains unintelligible to most consumers. In response to this gap, we aimed to leverage the foundational language established by The Alchemist Atelier to create a new visual technology that aims to democratise the world of perfumery and make it more inclusive and understandable to all.

Challenge

In collaboration with Puig, we worked closely together to ideate, design, develop and launch Wikiparfum. This innovative platform blends a search engine with a personalised recommendation system. Now, users can visually dive into the intricate world of perfumes, compare scents with precision, and create their own olfactive profiles to receive precise fragrance recommendations. Wikparfum makes exploring the world of perfumery a more intimate and engaging experience.
